Concept Art- "Artemis Chronicle", XNA Toolkit
April 2008- Current
My friend at Microsoft is developing a tech demo in XNA
The gameplay and premise are pretty simple:
a stealth bow-and-arrow shooting game with a frail girl who looks like
a Japanese character, and hence wears anime-style clothes that aren't very functionable
but look good to a predominantly male audience.
This is a tech demo developed in USC GamePipe's 491 class
so the focus is more on rendering and graphics rather than solid gameplay.
The programmers are building the engine, and next semester we will focus
more on deeper and more involved gameplay.
I will upload all concept art here as I find them (or remember where I put them)
the heroine, who thus far doesn't have a name...

the 1st creature, which crawls on the ground and hovers for shorts periods of
time for the purpose of stabbing you in the gut with its tail
it has melee attacks only

the 2nd monster, which has long-range attacks (shoots fire or laser from its eye)
and can guard itself.
