Eye of the Storm- Collage

Done for an assignment where we were to create a piece inspired by a piece of music.

 

I used Yoko Kanno's "Far Away Cry." It is a sad and dark sounding instrumental, with a lonely violin amidst subdued rumbles of thunder and drumbeats. I interpreted this as a lonely ray of light amidst a storm.
