Assignment for FA 203: Re-interpret and Re-design an old movie's original movie poster. I was assigned "Death of a Hooker," a 1971 mystery/ comedy. I reinterpreted the movie to a gritty action/suspense mystery. Stock images used. We were to design 3 layouts, and come up with our own logos too.

I spent a long time at Fry's getting ideas. A lot of dvd covers for thrillers use the "cropped images" scheme, so I gave it a try.

For this one I tried to go for a film-noir-ish look, with more old-fashioned font. I was thinking of Jack the Ripper for this scenario
